Ruined Film Series

Usually I try to achieve this look by micro clicking in camera, advancing the film in incremental amounts and panning at the same time. However, this time, the film did it to itself. Maybe the roll was defective or wasn’t lined up right, but when pulled from the camera, it was crimped and torn. I wish every roll was like this 🙂

I think it makes a compelling series and really worked to my advantage. I hope you all agree! Let me know your thoughts, my friends!

  1. Ha! My first thought was – exposure test strips. I especially like the last one with the repetitive images of the house, trees and ripple in the water. It’s very effective! How did your roll get crimped?
